PL8 Gain Factor Kd
The differentially acting controller evaluates the change of deviation and calculates its rate of change. This is multiplied by the factor Kd and returns the result to the analog output without further delay. Depending of your application may be you have to use a P, PID, PI or PDController. Please find more basic information in the technical literature regarding “control and regulation technology”. The differential term is dependent on time. All timing related to this PID controller is based on time steps of Δt. The parameter Δt (PL3) used for the mass flow measurement is also used as time base for the PID controller. An internal delta time value used in the PID algorithm is calculated as PL3 x 0.01 sec. If PL3 is e.g. set to 100, the internal delta time value will be 100 x 0.01 = 1 sec, meaning that the PID calculation will be done once every second.
Available setup range: 999999 … 999999 without decimal point (!).
Please keep in mind, this value works always with 3 decimals.
Note: A setup for PL8 equals 1000 means, the gain factor Kd is 1 (which is 1.000).
This means, the setup range of the gain factor Kd is approx. 1000 to +1000 (999.999 to +999.999).
